Myriads of books have been written recently calling pastors back to their primary responsibility of "preaching the Word of God." However, during this same period of time, there has been little if anything that has been addressed to the people of the church as they sit week after week under the preaching of the Holy Scriptures. God wants us to be good listeners of preaching and to develop the skill and art of listening.
